POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a full-time Social Specialist to work remotely on PST hours. You'll be helping a fantastic team that manages digital campaigns for many Motion Picture Studios, TV Networks, Streaming Services, Game Developer/Publishers. As an integral member of the account team you will support an Account Director and Manager/Director with the execution of campaigns across multiple social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, etc. Projects may also include web and game development, video production, augmented and virtual reality, and other emerging technologies. This role is highly collaborative and will work across the organization with multiple stakeholders to implement strategies for growth and success.

The Social Specialist’s role is to work closely with the Account Director/Manager on all projects.  This position will take ownership of internal creative revisions, QAing creative content, reviewing asset calendars, and checking in with managers to ensure all client tasks are being addressed. The Specialist must be organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and proactive in order to keep the team one step ahead. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client interaction
    • Attend weekly meetings and phone calls
    • Putting together first drafts of call agendas
    • Asking specific posting / calendaring / asset questions to client - as needed 
  • Monitor client social platforms for engagement levels, content and amplification opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness for text, photo, video, etc.
  • Publish social posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, etc)
  • Assist with managing the billing process - including SOWs, PORs, Invoices, budget tracking
    • Request invoices to be sent to client
  • Set up email aliases & job numbers
  • Spearhead community management activations on case by case basis
  • Track and maintain project creative assets
    • Download and organize assets from clients (video clips, graphic images, photos, etc.)
    • Deliver final files to clients via DropBox transfer or other digital delivery system
    • Keep files updated and organized
  • Provide live event social media coverage (remotely or on-site) - as needed 
  • Attend project brainstorms and follow up on any additional research needs 
  • Transcribe & Timecode assets (trailers, TV spots, clips, films, episodes, etc.)
  • Research audience preferences and current trends
  • Use our proprietary ticketing system to:
    • Make project review links for clients
    • Set up project creative & copywriting tickets for designers and copywriters
    • Generate file collect tickets to package source files for delivery to client
  • Maintain project production tracker status docs - as needed
  • Assist with campaign reporting 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work remotely on Pacific Time, 9am-6pm, with occasional early mornings or late nights
  • Occasional weekend coverage for social media posting, event coverage, etc. 
  • Proven work experience in social media
  • Confidence using multiple social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, etc.) independently (posting, commenting, editing, sharing, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects concurrently
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A team player with strong time management skills, and the ability to stay focused under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Proficiency in GSuite is expected
  • Experience with the entertainment industry preferred 
  • An understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) a plus
